The Academic Network of the Intelligence College in Europe is a collaborative initiative designed to connect intelligence communities and academic institutions across Europe. Its mission is to encourage a shared strategic culture and enhance professional standards through dialogue and the exchange of practical skills and scientific knowledge.

The Academic Network supports a diverse range of activities that include thematic seminars and outreach initiatives. These activities promote in-depth discussions on topics that are timely and important to the European intelligence community. The network also offers tailored educational programs, such as a Postgraduate Programme that exposes intelligence professionals to relevant cutting-edge scientific research and an Executive Education Courses that is specifically designed to address their practical needs.
As of September 2024, the Academic Network consists of 37 member institutions across Europe. Thereby the network facilitates partnerships that leverage academic expertise to ensure training is both relevant and academically rigorous.

By addressing contemporary security challenges, this commitment to collaboration of academic network institutions aims to enhance the capabilities of intelligence professionals as well as to strengthen a shared professional and strategic culture among Europe’s intelligence communities.
